Chris Wood has been a standout performer for Nuno Espirito Santo's team in an attacking sense during the opening weeks of the campaign.

The striker has two goals in the top flight across three appearances, which follow on from his 14 league efforts last term.

Another visiting player to keep an eye out for is midfield playmaker Morgan Gibbs-White, who has netted once this season, having totalled 10 assists for Forest throughout 2023-24 to go alongside his five goals.

Team news

Forest may be without Ibrahim Sangare and Willy Boly, while Danilo is a long-term injury absentee.

The visitors will also review the readiness of Ramon Sosa and Wood after their exertions with Paraguay and New Zealand respectively during the international break.

Deadline-day signings Morato and James Ward-Prowse may make their Forest debuts at Anfield.
