NewsOlympics: Fuka Nagano's Japan exit at quarter-final stage

Fuka Nagano featured for Japan on Saturday as they exited the women’s Olympic football tournament at the quarter-final stage.

The Liverpool FC Women midfielder completed the full game as Japan were beaten 1-0 by the USA in a contest that required extra-time.

Following a goalless 90 minutes at the Parc des Princes, Trinity Rodman provided the decisive strike in the added half an hour to send her nation into the final four of the competition.
