Liverpool FC Women midfielder Nagano started and finished Japan’s 2-1 loss to Spain in Group C, with the world champions coming from behind to win in Nantes.
Goalkeeper Micah, meanwhile, was an unused substitute as Australia were beaten 3-0 by Germany in their Group B contest in Marseille.
Japan and Australia are back in action on Sunday, with Nagano’s side taking on Brazil at Paris’ Parc des Princes and Micah’s team meeting Zambia in Nice.
