Seven years a RedIn numbers: Andy Robertson's Liverpool career so far

Today marks the seven-year anniversary of the left-back beginning his incredible Anfield career after completing a transfer from Hull City.

297 – appearances the No.26 has made for Liverpool in all competitions so far, meaning he is on course to join the Reds' 300 club early in the forthcoming season. He would become the 64th man to reach that figure in LFC history. His overall total includes an ever-present Premier League campaign – he appeared in all 38 games of 2020-21 – and 56 matches in European football, which puts him on the brink of a place in the all-time top 20 for the Reds.

55 – Premier League assists Robertson has provided since joining the Reds, reaching double figures for a single season on three occasions. His highest total in one campaign was in 2019-20 when he served up a dozen for his teammates in the top flight. Robertson's overall Premier League assist figure of 59 – he also tallied four while representing Hull – makes him the leading defender for the metric in the era, one ahead of Liverpool teammate Trent Alexander-Arnold.

13 – seconds is how long his famous, lung-busting press against Manchester City at Anfield in 2018 lasted. Robertson's hounding of the visitors from the halfway line to all the way inside their penalty area was adored by his new supporters and a sign of things to come. "I got the momentum up and I just kept going and going," he later explained. "That was just a hunger to get the ball back. The game's a wee bit easier when you have the ball, isn't it?"

11 – the amount of times Robertson has been on the scoresheet. All but one of his goals have come in the Premier League. He opened his account on the final day of the 2017-18 league season at home to Brighton & Hove Albion and last scored in May's 4-2 win over Tottenham Hotspur.

8 – the number of times Robertson has lifted a trophy during his Liverpool career: Champions League (2019), UEFA Super Cup (2019), FIFA Club World Cup (2019), Premier League (2019-20), Carabao Cup (2022 and 2024), Emirates FA Cup (2022) and FA Community Shield (2022).

5 – matches in which Robertson has worn the captain's armband from the start. The 30-year-old is an important figure within the dressing room and was also installed as skipper of the Scotland national team back in September 2018.

2 – the number of occasions Robertson has been rewarded with a spot in the PFA Premier League Team of the Year. He kept his place in the XI for his contribution to the title-winning campaign of 2019-20 after being handed a berth for the first time in 2018-19.

1 – MBE. Robertson was recognised for his services to football, charity and young people in the 2023 New Year Honours List. In addition to his sporting achievements, Robertson launched his AR26 Charity in 2020 to help underprivileged youngsters in Scotland.
