Foundation work is now complete and these new behind-the-scenes pictures feature concrete core wall panels and the first concrete stairs, which will provide the stability for the building.
The first two concrete wall panels are in place on the eastern core, along with the first flight of pre-cast concrete steps. The remaining core starter bars are also in place to frame the central core of the building.
Work on the stand expansion – which will add around 7,000 seats to the stadium’s overall capacity – began last September and is anticipated to be ready for the 2023-24 season.
