Pre-order nowNew LFC 2024-25 third kit unveiled in celebration of the women's game
Released as part of the Nike 'Together We Rise' collection across the brand's club football estate, the third kit celebrates the women's game and its acceleration in world sport.
It is uniquely represented through a distinct vertical double Swoosh, which is across the jersey, shorts and matching socks.
The iconic Swoosh denotes the wing of the Greek goddess Nike, and symbolises speed, movement, power and motivation. This new detail will be worn by both the men's and women's teams.
Each third kit is inspired by the club's unique story, distinct identity, culture and diverse communities. LFC's shirt is 'rebellious by design' and a celebration of female punk artists who pioneered a new sound in the city.
It fuses the iconic club colours with a loud mixed pattern in homage to the city's fearless artists and features in parts the Liver bird feathers.
The white kit has enhanced comfort and fit with details of pure platinum, with iconic club colours of global red and chrome yellow flashes finishing the shirt. The jersey is matched with black shorts and white socks.
On the reverse of the jersey, the 97 emblem encased by the eternal flames sits proudly at the nape of the neck in memory of those children, women and men who were unlawfully killed as a result of the Hillsborough disaster.
Made with Dri-Fit ADV, Nike's pinnacle standard for performance apparel, they leveraged the latest advanced body-mapping technology, 4D data and state-of-the-art digital design tools to tune the material pixel by pixel, providing reinforcement, mobility, breathability and venting exactly where it's needed most to help athletes stay cool, dry, comfortable and focused.
The kit is available to pre-order now at our official online store, in official LFC stores (UK and internationally) and via the LFC Store app.
The campaign video and creative imagery depicts 'generations of power', featuring protagonists from the men's and women's games, as well as former Liverpool FC Women players and a junior female grassroots footballer. It is a celebration of the past, present and future of the women's game.
Current LFC Women players Taylor Hinds, Olivia Smith, Leanne Kiernan, Sophie Roman Haug, Marie Höbinger and Mia Enderby all feature. They are joined by men's players Andy Robertson, Mohamed Salah, Alisson Becker, Ryan Gravenberch, Darwin Nunez and Dominik Szoboszlai.
Hinds said: "I love the kit; I think it's different, especially with the Swoosh and what it represents. It's also still got the Liverpool red in it, and I can't wait to wear it."
Robertson added: "I really like it; I like the colour and the detail on the shirt, especially with the Swoosh going up, which is a bit different. It's signifying the rise of the women's game and we're a big part of it to try to help that."
The former players who helped shape the women's game at LFC and an important part of the club's history are Natasha Dowie, Becky Easton, Gayle Formston and Julie Griffiths.
Dowie, club ambassador, commented: "It's really slick, it's fierce and I love the energy of the kit. It's great to see more fans at games, the pitches, the stadiums – it makes me really proud to have been one of the first to play professionally and to see now that girls can have a dream to be a professional player."
Easton, part of Forever Reds, LFC's official former players association, added: "Back in the '80s and '90s when I was playing, it was different. But to see the development and the growth nowadays, it makes me very proud I was part of that history."
When the kit is worn in European competitions by the men's team this season, it will also feature the LFC Foundation patch on the reverse.
LFC Foundation, the club's official charity, provides life-changing opportunities for young people and families both home and away.
The LFC Foundation patch can also be purchased for £5 and printed on the reverse of the shirt, with proceeds supporting LFC Foundation's international programmes.

As with previous seasons, the club is offering a 10 per cent discount off the price of the third kit to all LFC Official Members and season ticket holders, now including LFC Women season ticket holders. This is also available for UK key workers via Blue Light and Network and students via Student Beans. More information on eligibility and how to redeem the discount can be found here.
A black warm-up top, platinum anthem jacket and alternative goalkeeper kit in green spark, pine green and white will also feature the distinct vertical double Swoosh.
The kit – along with warm-up top and anthem jacket – will be on general sale from September 3. The change strip will sit alongside this year's already launched home and away kits to complete the 2024-25 line-up.
