Media watchNetherlands star will 'put up with the rain' to seal dream Liverpool transfer
Liverpool target Teun Koopmeiners says he will put up with the rain if it means sealing a move to the Premier League this summer.
The 26-year-old, who has been at Atalanta since 2021, is having a sensational campaign, scoring ten goals and three assists in Serie A. He is one of two players to reach double figures from midfield in the last two seasons in Europe's top five leagues - along with Manchester City's Phil Foden.
Koopmeiners has attracted the attention of a number of top clubs, including long-term admirers Juventus who could return with an offer at the end of the season following initial interest last year. Reports in Italy claimed that Liverpool have 'already expressed their approval' to sign the midfielder after missing out on the opportunity last summer.
