Mohamed Salah provided an assist as Egypt beat Belgium 2-1 in an international friendly.

The sides met in Kuwait on Friday ahead of Belgium’s World Cup campaign and Liverpool’s No.11 captained his country to an impressive win.

Salah played 88 minutes at Jaber Al-Ahmad International Stadium and set up Trezeguet to put the Pharaohs 2-0 up in the early stages of the second half.

Egypt are not involved at the World Cup and have no further fixtures ahead of the resumption of the Reds’ season on December 22.
