NewsMissy Bo Kearns' farewell message to LFC Women supporters
It was announced today that the midfielder has completed a permanent transfer from the Reds to fellow Barclays Women's Super League side Aston Villa.
Kearns departs having made more than 100 appearances and scored 13 times for the club, helping Liverpool regain and consolidate their place in the WSL over the past three seasons.
"After 15 years at this football club, it's been so hard to say goodbye," she said. "Liverpool FC is part of me. I've been here since I was eight, I've been a fan since I was born.
"I think little me would just be fascinated that all her dreams have come true. Playing 100 games for this team, I never thought it would be possible.
"It's hard to put into words the feeling of it unless you got to experience what I've experienced.
"Every single game, every single day when you're putting the kit on, I'll never take a day of wearing this shirt for granted.
"It's been the best days of my life. I just want you to know that if you put your mind to it dreams can come true and there's nothing better than living your childhood dream day in, day out.
"I'm forever grateful for all the support you give me and the love you show towards me. Liverpool fans are the best fans in the world and that's that.
"I'm excited to see how far the club can go. I really hope it keeps progressing and gets to where I think this club should be.
"I hope you all understand that the decision I'm making is for my career. All my experiences, my learning, I'll be bringing them with me and one thing I'll be taking with me is 'You'll Never Walk Alone.'"
