InterviewMelkamu Frauendorf working hard for more opportunities after Anfield start
The 19-year-old made his first start for the Reds at senior level in the Carabao Cup third-round victory over Derby County at Anfield back in November.
It was his second appearance for Jürgen Klopp's side, having made his professional debut in the Emirates FA Cup in the campaign before, and provided the Academy prospect with a memory he'll never forget.
Asked if he still thinks about that occasion eight months on, Frauendorf told Liverpoolfc.com: "I do, definitely. It's amazing. I can't believe it, playing in front of so many people.
"I was so nervous. Before the game especially, I was so nervous. But then as soon as you get on the pitch, you just forget it and just try to focus and give your best. That's what I did. It's important that you enjoy that time.
"I definitely want to play regularly as well, get better and get used to it more. Personally, I want to just improve myself, learn, score, assist – that's what I want."

Frauendorf is one of a number of the club's youngsters in Germany for the pre-season training camp as preparations for 2023-24 intensify.
In his quest to continue developing as a player, the Germany youth international is absorbing everything he can from the senior members of the squad.
He continued: "It's great to train here with the players, learn off them and work hard for the next season as well. I can't wait for next season.
"Especially in the training, a few of them came to give me advice – how to do different situations and what to do. It definitely helped me a lot.
"I think it's a big [opportunity] for me this season because I want to work hard and develop myself as well."
