Jürgen Klopp on Jadon Sancho to Liverpool January transfer rumours
Jürgen Klopp has refused to be drawn over a January move for Jadon Sancho as Liverpool continue to be linked with the England international.
Sancho is said to be unhappy with life at Borussia Dortmund and Liverpool have been one of the clubs who have been inevitably linked with the 19-year-old, with the former Manchester City academy player said to be attracting the attention of a string of European heavyweights.
Klopp, however, kept his counsel when asked about interest from the European champions and said there was nothing to discuss about Sancho.
"He’s a very good player," Klopp said. "I have no clue where these kind of things are coming from, but it cannot come from us because we never speak about it.
"If we would be involved, nobody would know about it apart from a person who wouldn’t speak about it. There's nothing to say.
"Cost? That’s one issue, 100 per cent that would be an issue. But there’s nothing to say about it.
"I know how it sounds, but I cannot change that. There’s nothing to say about it, which can mean there’s absolutely nothing to say about it."
