Striker admits he's open to Anfield move
Rostov striker Sardar Azmoun has claimed he would consider a move to Liverpool.
Azmoun has been linked with Liverpool in recent weeks due to his fine performances in the Champions League with Russian side Rostov.
The 21-year-old enhanced his reputation with goals against Bayern Munich and Atletico Madrid and the Liverpool Echo claim he has caught the eye of the Reds.
He is also said to be on the radar of Dutch giants Ajax and PSV Eindhoven.
When asked about a potential move away from Rostov, he said: "Ajax, PSV or Liverpool? I have not received any offers.
“If there are, then I’m going to take my time to look into it, whether it’s come from Liverpool or other clubs.”
Azmoun's agent Mehdi Hagitali claimed last month his client was focusing on his future with Rostov, but did not rule out a move elsewhere.
“I read about the interest in Sardar from Liverpool, but I can say that at present there have been no formal proposals from either foreign or Russian clubs," Hagitali said.
"His main goal is to become the best striker in the Russian Premier League.
"But if some proposals come, we will look at them."
Azmoun has scored six times and provided two assists in 22 appearances for Rostov this season.
He signed a two-year deal with the Russian side in the summer and is under contract until June 2018.
He has 22 caps for Iran and has already scored 16 international goals.
