NewsMatt Beard wins FA Women's Championship Manager of the Year
Matt Beard has been named the LMA FA Women's Championship Manager of the Year.
The Liverpool FC Women boss received his award at a League Managers Association event on Tuesday night, after his team clinched promotion in 2021-22.
In his second spell in charge of the club, Beard guided the Reds back to the Women’s Super League by winning the Championship title.
His side went on a 20-game unbeaten run in the division and sealed promotion with two games to spare.
