NewsMatt Beard nominated for WSL Manager of the Season award

The Liverpool FC Women boss is shortlisted alongside Chelsea’s Emma Hayes and Gareth Taylor of Manchester City, in recognition of a superb campaign for the Reds.

Beard’s side are on the cusp of their best league finish for seven years, needing just a point from their final game of 2023-24, away to Leicester City on May 18, to secure fourth place in the WSL.

In what is just their second season back in the top flight since promotion, Liverpool have beaten Arsenal at Emirates Stadium, Chelsea and Manchester United (twice), losing just five of their 21 league matches so far.

Fans can vote for Beard to win here before the deadline of 10am BST on Monday May 13.
