Liverpool FC Women manager Matt Beard will miss today’s Anfield fixture against Manchester City due to illness.

Assistant managers Amber Whiteley and Scott Rogers are therefore set to oversee team duties for the Reds’ fourth Barclays Women’s Super League game of the season.

Beard will be in direct communication with the dugout during the match.

Kick-off in L4 is 3pm BST.
