NewsLuis Diaz voted Liverpool's Standard Chartered Men's Player of the Month
The Colombian forward claims the award for the first time in 2023-24 after topping a fan poll on Liverpoolfc.com.
He emerged the clear winner after fine performances in his eight outings during the period, with teammates Alexis Mac Allister and Cody Gakpo finishing in second and third respectively.
Collecting the trophy at the AXA Training Centre, the No.7 said: "Thank you very much. I'm really happy and grateful to have received this award, which is so valuable to us players.
"I'm happy for the support of all the fans, knowing that they have been with me from the very moment I arrived until the last.
"They have always been super-attentive and supportive, not only of me but also of the institution, the team and I am very grateful to God for helping the team in this way."
Diaz made seven starts throughout April and was on the scoresheet in the Reds' Premier League draw away at Manchester United.
He added: "I'm contributing to the team, as I've always wanted to do, with goals, assists, playing well. The team comes first before the individual."
