In Spain's La Liga, Stefan Bajcetic played 86 minutes for Las Palmas as they were beaten 2-0 at home to Barcelona.
Lewis Koumas was introduced as a substitute on the hour mark for Stoke City as they lost 4-2 away at Norwich City in the Championship.
In League Two, Dominic Corness featured for the opening 45 minutes of Gillingham's goalless stalemate on the road against Carlisle United.
Rhys Williams started for Morecambe as they faced leaders Walsall in the same division, but the centre-back received a straight red card for a professional foul early in the second half.
