NewsLoan watch: Adam Lewis nets first goal of the season
The 23-year-old found the back of the net from a free-kick for Newport County in League Two as they played out a 1-1 draw with Rochdale.
Lewis has also recorded three assists for the Welsh club in all competitions this season so far across 23 appearances.
Elsewhere, in League One Conor Bradley helped keep a clean sheet for Bolton Wanderers in a 0-0 draw with Plymouth Argyle - fellow Reds loanee Owen Beck also featured for the final 15 minutes of the contest from the bench.
Tyler Morton was a late substitute for Blackburn Rovers in their 1-0 triumph over Norwich City in the Emirates FA Cup, while Max Woltman stepped off the bench in Doncaster Rovers’ 1-0 defeat to Leyton Orient in League Two.
In the National League North, Jack Bearne completed 61 minutes for Kidderminster Harriers in their 0-0 draw against Leamington.
And, north of the border, Leighton Clarkson played 87 minutes of Aberdeen’s 2-0 win over St Johnstone, while Lucy Parry helped Hibernian Women to victory in the Scottish Cup as they defeated Spartans 3-0.
Ashley Hodson featured for 70 minutes as Birmingham City Women earned a 4-0 win over Huddersfield Town in the Vitality Women’s FA Cup.
Goalkeeper Charlotte Clarke also helped West Bromwich Albion Women reach the next phase of the same competition thanks to a 3-2 victory over Liverpool Feds.
