ClubLiverpool's top scorers in 2021-22
With the 2021-22 season now completed, we take a closer look at Liverpool's leading scorers across all levels during the campaign.
Men’s team
For the fifth consecutive season, Mohamed Salah was Liverpool’s most prolific player in all competitions.
The Egyptian matched his tally of 2020-21 by notching 31 goals, with 23 of those strikes coming in the Premier League and earning him a third Golden Boot of his time with the Reds.
A fine spell following his participation in the Africa Cup of Nations saw Sadio Mane (23) pip Diogo Jota (21) to finish as second-top scorer for Jürgen Klopp’s side.
It was the second-highest haul of the Senegal forward’s Anfield career so far, while Jota increased the tally of his debut year with the Reds by eight.
Roberto Firmino and Takumi Minamino also achieved double figures as the men’s team scored a total of 147 goals in 63 games played in the league, Champions League, Emirates FA Cup and Carabao Cup.

Signed by returning manager Matt Beard last summer, Leanne Kiernan delivered a team-high 14 goals for LFC Women in 2021-22.
The Republic of Ireland international was on target 13 times in the FA Women’s Championship to help power the side to become champions and secure promotion back to the top flight.
Kiernan was the fifth-highest scorer of the season across the club’s men’s, women’s and Academy sides.
From January, she was supplemented by American striker Katie Stengel, who quickly racked up nine goals as the Reds accomplished their objective in the second half of the campaign.
Vice-captain Rachel Furness chipped in six goals from midfield, while Yana Daniels, Taylor Hinds and Missy Bo Kearns each provided four.
