NewsLiverpool's Europa League permutations on matchday five
The Reds currently top Group E having taken nine points from their four fixtures so far and are two points clear of Toulouse in second.
Union SG are in third place on four points, while LASK sit fourth on three points.
A win or draw when LASK visit Anfield would be sufficient to give Liverpool a guaranteed top-two finish in the group before the final matchday.
If Jürgen Klopp’s side claim victory and Toulouse do not secure a win at home to Union SG on the same evening, the Reds will be confirmed as group winners.
Group winners progress directly to the Round of 16, while group runners-up must contest a play-off in February to reach that stage.
If Thursday’s meeting between Toulouse and Union SG ends in a draw, the Reds will be guaranteed a top-two finish regardless of the result against LASK.
