Darwin Nunez was voted Liverpool's Carlsberg Player of the Match following the Reds' 2-0 Boxing Day victory over Burnley.

Nunez opened the scoring at Turf Moor in the sixth minute of the contest, putting in a good performance to aid the win in Lancashire, which was sealed by late substitute Diogo Jota to send Liverpool to the top of the Premier League.

In our Match Centre poll afterwards, Nunez edged out Wataru Endo to be named Player of the Match.
