Pre-match statsLiverpool will reach European milestone in tie with Toulouse

Having won three out of three in the group stage so far this season, the Reds travel to France for a 5.45pm GMT kick-off.

Here are 11 facts and figures to know ahead of the tie…

This will be Liverpool’s 150th game in this competition across its three guises: Fairs Cup, UEFA Cup and Europa League. They have won 81 so far.

It is also the club’s 450th match under Jürgen Klopp. There has been 278 victories to date.

A win in this game would see the Reds qualify for the knockout stages. If they claim victory and Union SG fail to win away to LASK, Liverpool would be confirmed as group winners with two matches to spare and therefore avoid a knockout play-off round in February.

Liverpool have beaten Toulouse in each of their three previous meetings, winning 4-0 and 5-1 at home, and at Thursday’s venue in a 2007-08 Champions League third qualifying round match thanks to Andriy Voronin’s 43rd-minute goal.

Overall against French sides in France, the Reds have won five of 15 visits, with eight defeats and two draws.

Klopp has used 25 players in three Europa League games so far this season, with only Wataru Endo, Darwin Nunez, Harvey Elliott and Ryan Gravenberch starting all three. Only Elliott has played every minute of the campaign.

Nunez has six goals from his 11 European appearances for the club to date.

Mohamed Salah has made six substitute appearances for the Reds in European competition and has scored six times in those games, averaging a goal as a sub every 23 minutes.

In European competition Liverpool have won 14 of their last 15 group matches.

The Reds have lost just one of their last 27 fixtures in all competitions.

Toulouse have lost both games played since their defeat at Anfield last month – going down 3-0 at Montpellier before a 2-1 home defeat by Le Havre last Sunday.
