MatchLiverpool v Brighton: Team news
The teams face off for the second time in three days following the Reds' 3-2 win at Amex Stadium earlier this week, with Anfield the venue for clash two.
Arne Slot did not reveal any fresh fitness concerns for his team when he spoke to the media at a press conference on Friday morning.
The head coach did, however, confirm Alisson Becker, Federico Chiesa and Diogo Jota will not be in contention before the November international break.
"It is always difficult to tell you exactly when they are ready because especially the last phase of the recovery can always be a few days extra or less," he said. "The fact is that they [Alisson and Jota] are not there before the international break and let's see if they can join us after.
"Chiesa is not back before the international break, but there is only a week to go. We are hoping he can do things again during the international break and that he can join us afterwards."
Harvey Elliott is also sidelined as he continues to recover from a foot injury.
On whether it is 'strange' to be playing against the same opponents twice in a row, Slot said: "It's not weird, especially because both teams didn't start with the team they will start with on Saturday.
"I think for both managers it's a positive thing because you know even more about the opponent. Although, players make the game and it is, of course, a difference if a different player plays.
"The playing style might be the same but the quality of the players make nine out of 10 times the difference. That changes the game on Saturday compared to the one on Wednesday."
Wataru Endo could make his 50th appearance for the Reds since joining in 2023.
Fabian Hurzeler hopes to welcome back Joao Pedro and Matt O'Riley to his Brighton squad for the visit to Merseyside.
However, assessments will be made on the fitness of captain Lewis Dunk and Ferdi Kadioglu, who came off at half-time in the midweek meeting.
"We have to see how Lewis is," Hurzeler told reporters. "Matt O'Riley is back in training and he will be ready [to be] a potential player in the squad. Also Joao Pedro will be back. Some players will be back on the pitch.
"And I think with Ferdi it's not that bad, so hopefully he will also be an option for Saturday."
On Joao Pedro, who has been sidelined for the last six weeks, the Seagulls head coach added: "We have to see how he's coming back after a long injury if he will be an option. But he's back in training."
Yankuba Minteh was not part of their matchday squad on Wednesday, along with expected absentees Solly March, James Milner and Adam Webster.
