The Reds have already held talks with Wolves over a possible deal for the Algeria international, according to journalist David Lynch, as the Merseyside club are on the hunt for a new left-back to provide competition for Andy Robertson.
The Anfield team are still looking to bring in their first signing under new manager Arne Slot. They appeared close to signing Martin Zubimendi but talks with the Real Sociedad star broke down after he was told he would have to trigger his own release clause.
