Gyokeres has been heavily linked with a move away from Sporting this summer, with the rumours first surfacing about an exit back in January. Liverpool were initially credited with an interest in the New Year before the rumours quietened down, but now speculation has re-emerged.
According to Football Insider, Liverpool have now joined the race to sign Gyokeres this summer. In doing so, the Reds will compete with Arsenal for the striker's signature, who is reported to have an £86 million release clause in his contract.
