Liverpool are reportedly keeping tabs on Lille and England midfielder Angel Gomes, who left Manchester United to join the French outfit four years ago.

Gomes' impressive form in Ligue 1 in recent seasons saw him earn his maiden call-up to the England national team earlier this month for games against the Republic of Ireland and Finland.

However, the midfielder is out of contract at the end of the season and is being linked with a return to the Premier League, with Football Insider reporting that the United academy graduate was scouted by the Reds during the Three Lions' Nations League fixture against Finland last week.
