AcademyLiam Hughes joins Stalybridge Celtic on loan
Academy goalkeeper Liam Hughes has joined Stalybridge Celtic on loan for the remainder of the season.
The 20-year-old moved to Liverpool from Glasgow Celtic last January and then signed a new contract with the club during the summer.
Hughes has been part of the Reds’ U23s squad since his arrival and has also twice been named on the senior team’s bench by Jürgen Klopp.
He will now link up with Northern Premier League side Stalybridge for the rest of 2021-22 with a view to gaining further experience.
