ClubLFC's museum at Anfield relaunches with brand-new immersive journey

Located at Anfield, it's a tribute to the legacy of the club for fans all over the world to discover and experience the LFC story from past to the present. State-of-the-art exhibits showcase iconic moments, legendary players and illustrious achievements.

The relaunch has integrated cutting-edge technology – including multimedia installations – to bring the history of the club to life.

From humble origins to one of the world's most historic and famous football clubs, the reimagined space is a celebration of LFC's status as English football's most successful club.

Featuring nine new spaces, the museum takes you on a journey through time – starting with 'where it all began' and ending on a tribute to former manager Jürgen Klopp.

Travel through the different spaces with interactive displays to bring the club's story to life –including a closer look at the evolution of the famous LFC kits – and for the first time all the major trophies have been brought together in one place.

There is also a section dedicated to supporters, the beating heart of the club, showcasing the Kop songbook and items of memorabilia gathered over the years.

Mike Cox, senior vice-president of museum and tours at Liverpool FC, said: "The LFC museum is more than just a collection of artefacts; it's a place where we can celebrate the club's heritage and the incredible journey we've shared with our fans.

"The new space is a modern revamp of our story that remembers our past and looks to our future. We can't wait for the fans to experience the magic of Liverpool FC in this new immersive way."

Anfield's museum and tour is one of the city's leading tourist attractions and supports a thriving visitor economy in Liverpool. Last year, just under 400,000 people visited the Anfield tour to go behind the scenes at the famous stadium.

Relaunching in time for the start of the busy summer season, LFC's stadium tour was recently awarded a TripAdvisor Travellers' Choice award for placing in the top 10 per cent of worldwide attractions – given based on reviews and ratings collected over 12 months.
