Out soonLFC x Converse: Second collaborative limited-edition product capsule collection
This new capsule collection fuses inspiration from the rich history of iconic Liverpool FC imagery with the diversity and creativity that reflects a new generation of global football fans.
The Fall Holiday 23 Liverpool FC x Converse collection takes inspiration from the club's colours, architecture and typeface.
Key pieces include a limited-edition unisex premium puffer jacket, Liverpool FC x Converse Chuck 70 high-top sneakers incorporating colour-blocking and gradient style inspired by LFC's iconic away colours, a Liverpool FC x Converse cotton jersey crew – including illustrated LFC-inspired graphics – and the Liverpool FC x Converse Star Player 76.
The first limited-edition capsule collection celebrated the diverse and creative nature of the club's beating heart – its supporters. This second collection in the Liverpool FC x Converse partnership celebrates the club's history and champions its future, while paying homage to the supporters and anthems of Anfield.
This second collaboration will also see the corresponding campaign 'Creating from The Ground Up' shift from inspiration to action as Converse provided a platform for featured LFC fans to create with Converse in the production of the campaign.
"Building on the success of the Liverpool FC x Converse partnership, we couldn't be prouder to launch the FH23 collection and campaign, which celebrates the rich history of Liverpool FC, whilst bringing to the forefront the creativity of LFC fandom," said Steven Bramble, VP/GM Converse Western Europe.
"To feature LFC fans' creative work in the campaign is the natural evolution of 'Creating from The Ground Up' and really does enable, celebrate and support creativity in all its forms."
Mike Cox, senior vice-president of merchandising at Liverpool FC, added: "We're excited to launch this second collection alongside Converse. Working in collaboration with the brand has given us something new and exciting to offer our supporters. It also celebrates our diverse fanbase and champions their creativity."
The campaign features a cast of lifelong Liverpool supporters who are creatives in their own right: multi-discipline creative Dredz, singer/songwriter Pixey and artist Sterling Rose Kelly, alongside members of the men's and women's teams – Darwin Nunez, Missy Bo Kearns and Taylor Hinds.
Sterling, Pixey and Dredz have all played a creative role in the direction of the campaign alongside key members of Homotopia, Liverpool-based LGBT+ arts and social justice organisation and Converse social and community impact partner.
Converse have invested in Homotopia's Young Homotopia Creative Skills programme throughout 2023. Homotopia artists and LFC fans who have worked on the creative of this campaign are Olivia Graham, Margie Houlston, Sian Bennett, Kolade and DJ Lauren Lo Sung.
This creative process is emblematic of the Liverpool FC x Converse partnership, which sets out to celebrate creativity and diversity within the game and connect those supporters who are aiming to build a more inclusive, more creative and more diverse football community.
The Fall Holiday 23 Converse x Liverpool FC collection will be available from October 24 across LFC Retail – in-store, online and on the LFC Store app.
