NewsLFC Women injury update: Lucy Parry, Niamh Fahey and more
The No.32 was absent for the midweek 4-3 win over Chelsea at Prenton Park due to a concussion sustained the previous weekend.
But Parry is on course to bolster Beard’s options, which could remain unscathed after several knocks during the clash with the Blues.
“She had concussion, she got that last Saturday but she has trained today,” he said of Parry.
“So as long as there is no reaction to that, she should be back in the squad. That will be the only addition.
“We’ve had one or two knocks from Wednesday which we will assess tomorrow but the feeling in the camp – from the medical team – is that everyone should be OK.”
Beard was also asked about the progress of captain Niamh Fahey, who is aiming for a return to training with the squad next week.
The boss replied: “Niamh should be back in with us next week. We had a scan on her calf and Achilles and everything has come back clear.
“It’s just about reintegrating her back into the training and loading her accordingly, so she should be back in next week.”
