NewsLFC recognised for its authentic inclusion across the club
Thanks to the club’s ongoing Red Together initiative and work across a number of different areas, it successfully completed a five-star verification process that is committed to ensuring authentic inclusion across LFC.
This is achieved by integrating fairness into the club’s culture and at each stage of its recruitment processes in the fields of sustainability, mental health, wellbeing, talent management, and diversity and inclusion.
Rishi Jain, senior equality, diversity and inclusion manager at LFC, said: “We are really pleased to have achieved the Includability Committed Employer status.
“This reflects our ongoing commitment and ambition to making our club as inclusive as possible by ensuring these best practices are integrated into all aspects of our work. We want to ensure that we are doing the very best for our people, and inclusion is an essential part of this.”
To receive the Includability Committed Employer status, the club’s verification process was independently conducted by Includability official partners – Prosperah, Outliers Wellbeing, Flex Wellbeing, Unleashed, The HR Agency and Mental Health Charter CIC – to ensure its practices align with established definitions of an ‘Inclusive Workplace’.
Successfully achieving Includability Committed Employer status immediately gives LFC access to a growing network of purpose-led organisations that aim to create a new standard for how the recruitment sector should deliver through engagement, collaboration and regularly sharing best practice.
Paul Smith, founder of Includability, said: “We are delighted to welcome Liverpool FC into our Includability community. It’s great that they were committed to working with our verification partners to obtain Includability Committed Employer status. By achieving this, Liverpool FC has displayed excellent intentions and transparency.
“It also means they are now part of a growing community of like-minded organisations that will support each other to share best practice, overcome obstacles, empower employees and work collaboratively to create an inclusive culture.”
