LFC freezes youth shirt and training kit prices for new season
The launch of LFC’s new home kit is eagerly anticipated and the strip will be available to pre-order on LFC’s official retail channels, including the LFC Store App.
There will be a £5 rise in adult stadium shirts as the club faces rising supply chain and operational costs across all areas.
But there will be no price increase for the majority of its kids’ kit, including shirt, shorts and across its popular training range which consists of top, jersey and jackets, with all prices remaining the same for the second season in a row.
Kids’ jerseys stay at £54.95 while the adult stadium jersey will increase by six per cent to £74.95.
LFC has taken the decision to absorb the majority of the supply chain and operational price rises instead of passing them on to supporters who purchase in LFC retail stores or through the club’s online retail presence.
As with previous seasons, the club is offering a 10 per cent discount off the price of the home shirt to all LFC Official Members and season ticket holders. This is also available for UK key workers via Blue Light and Network and students via Student Beans. More information on eligibility and how to redeem the discount can be found here.
Mike Cox, senior vice-president for retail and merchandising at LFC, said: “Rising costs are an issue across the board and no organisation is immune. We wanted to prioritise the kids’ kits and keep the same prices for the majority of our youth and training kit ranges for the second season in a row.
“We’ve made this decision despite facing a series of rising costs, including across manufacturing, fulfilment, shipping and distribution.
“We’re really pleased with the design of the new home kit and we can’t wait for supporters to see it.”
