NewsLFC Foundation Community Awards 2024 celebrates local heroes at Anfield

The awards, which took place on Friday May 24, was an evening dedicated to honouring individuals from across the Merseyside area who have demonstrated exemplary service, dedication and commitment to improving their community.

LFCTV’s Peter McDowall hosted the night, alongside former Liverpool players Steve McManaman, David Fairclough and Chris Kirkland, who presented the awards.

The evening brought together local heroes whose efforts have made significant impacts in the community and highlighted the profound difference that dedicated individuals can make.

All of the incredible nominees were individually chosen by LFC Foundation staff from a variety of community programmes. Each nominee’s story was a powerful reminder of the strength found within our Liverpool community, but 13 award winners stood out from the crowd.

The awards revolved around the LFC Foundation’s values: dignity, unity, commitment, ambition, equality; as well as standout and staff awards.
