CommunityLFC Foundation celebrates inaugural Community Awards
LFC Foundation recently celebrated its first-ever Community Awards at Anfield.
The ceremony aims to champion participants, volunteers and partners who demonstrate the club's and LFC Foundation's core values.
On Thursday July 7, LFC Foundation invited guests to attend Anfield and celebrate all of their hard work and commitment to the charity over the past year.
Special guest and former Reds goalkeeper Chris Kirkland presented the awards, alongside the head of youth and skills, Gemma Smith.
LFC Foundation chief executive Matt Parish said: "I'm proud to have welcomed all of our community champions to Anfield to celebrate our community awards.
"In order to succeed, we need support from coaches and staff in classrooms, on football pitches, in community centres and workspaces; but also from our participants and supporters who attend our programmes and help us to fundraise and promote social action."
