CommunityLFC Foundation brings Winter Wonderland to Norris Green Park
Liverpool FC's fifth annual Winter Wonderland Park was held last Saturday.
The event, which took place in Norris Green Park, was part of LFC Foundation’s Go Play! Programme – a free public park programme that aims to get young people and families more active.
The goal is to provide local communities with a fully inclusive and accessible opportunity to access fun games and activities for the whole family.
The event was able to go ahead with the support of Friends of the Park group, LFC Foundation staff and volunteers.
An amazing day was enjoyed by the 800 young people and their families who came along to the park to get active and take part in some fantastic activities.
There was snow in our Winter Wonderland Sensory Tunnel, arts and crafts, the St Helens Concert Band playing our favourite Christmas songs, the Norris Green choir, activities from the Liverpool Harriers, and even Santa’s donkeys!
