AnnouncementLFC collaborates with YouTube sensation Blippi for new content and retail range
Liverpool FC is bringing football to a new generation alongside YouTube's favourite edutainment star, Blippi.
Aimed at pre-school age, Blippi is a live-action pre-school programme that takes kids on field trips where they explore kid-friendly interactive destinations and experiences. These adventures elevate play time into a learning experience by exploring, meeting new people, and learning new words and facts associated with the places they visit.
Blippi has become a worldwide sensation with more than one billion monthly views across platforms including Netflix, Amazon and YouTube, and has millions of fans around the world.
Every Saturday a new episode of the hit series is released, and in this week’s instalment Mascot Fun with Mighty Red, Blippi is in Liverpool to visit Anfield. In the episode he finds out what it takes to be a football mascot with expert tuition from LFC’s official mascot, Mighty Red.
Blippi’s latest adventure is a fun way to introduce the Reds to pre-schoolers across the globe.
Alongside this episode, LFC and Blippi have also collaborated on a new retail range that launches on July 10, available exclusively through LFC’s official retail channels. This is the first time Blippi has collaborated with a sports team outside the USA.
The initial drop includes special-edition LFC x Blippi T-shirts and hoodie. The second range penned for November will introduce LFC x Blippi pyjamas, scarf and accessories to the collection.
Blippi’s Mascot Fun with Mighty Red episode will launch at 1pm BST and 5am PST on Blippi’s YouTube channel, which is available to watch for free here.
