NewsLeanne Kiernan available for LFC Women's meeting with Tottenham

The Reds No.9 has been sidelined with a hip problem recently but after completing a week of training at the AXA Melwood Training Centre, she is now available for selection.

Speaking at his pre-match press conference on Friday afternoon, manager Matt Beard said: "Leanne is back in the matchday squad. She had a bit of a hip inflammation, so we just had to manage that, but she is going to get niggles here and there [after being out for a long spell].

"Maybe the international break had something to do with that, I don't know, but she trained last week and she has been back in full training this week, so she will be available on Sunday from the bench."

Beard also confirmed the rest of his squad is fully fit and available for selection this weekend, aside from vice-captain Taylor Hinds, who picked up a calf problem in training and will be out for an extended period of time.
