Liverpool are reportedly targeting an improved bid for Torino defender Perr Schuurs.

The 23-year-old centre-back began his career by rising through the ranks at Ajax, where he made 95 appearances, before sealing a move to Serie A last summer.

Schuurs was impressive throughout his debut campaign and is claimed to be a target for the Reds, who have been linked with improving their defensive options.
