The striker moves to the National Women's Soccer League team for an undisclosed fee after completing a two-month loan spell there.
Stengel originally arrived at the Reds in January 2022 following a stint with Norwegian side Valerenga, scoring nine goals as Matt Beard's squad secured the FA Women's Championship title.
She made a total of 27 appearances last season and was on the scoresheet 10 times – to end with 19 goals for LFC.
Everyone at LFC Women would like to thank Katie for her valued contribution and wishes her the very best of luck as she returns home to the USA.
