NewsKaide Gordon signs new long-term contract with Liverpool
The 19-year-old committed his future to the club by putting pen to paper on the deal at the AXA Training Centre on Friday.
Gordon arrived at the Reds from Derby County in February 2021 and has made seven senior appearances to date.
Having begun his Liverpool career with the U18s, the winger earned his first opportunity in Jürgen Klopp's side seven months after joining when he debuted in a Carabao Cup tie away at Norwich City.
Further milestones would be hit in the 2021-22 campaign as he became the club's youngest ever scorer in the Emirates FA Cup with a well-taken finish against Shrewsbury Town, along with a spot in the starting XI for the League Cup semi-final at Arsenal.
His development was then put on hold by long-term injury but Gordon has returned this season to appear against Union SG, AFC Bournemouth and Southampton.
The England youth international has also featured for Barry Lewtas' U21s and recently scored twice in their come-from-behind win over Crystal Palace in the Premier League 2 play-offs.
