ReactionJordan Henderson: I'm proud of the boys this season - but it's not over yet
The Reds finished a solitary point behind Manchester City in the standings after a drama-filled final round of fixtures on Sunday afternoon.
Henderson and his teammates came from behind to beat Wolverhampton Wanderers 3-1 at Anfield. However, City's own turnaround at home to Aston Villa saw them hold on to first place and retain the crown.

On the afternoon of drama...
It was a tough afternoon. I think we didn't play as well as we can. A few things happened during the first half, obviously going a goal behind, which is never easy, but obviously a few nerves at the end. But in the end, I thought we came through really well, scored some good goals, kept going and found a way to win, which was pleasing.
On how aware the players were at what was happening in Man City's game...
Not really. The crowd cheering and stuff, yeah, but I didn't really know what the score was. There were too many cheers from our fans and obviously the Wolves fans as well, so I sort of lost count if you like! So, we just tried to focus on what we needed to do and win the game – and we managed to do that. Like I said, we didn't play particularly well but we got the job done in the end.
On whether he takes a lot from getting the job done on the day...
I think we'll be disappointed. We've been in this position before but it's tough. It is tough when you're hearing cheers. Wolves are a good side and we knew they would make it difficult today and they did that. But we kept believing. We always believe we can find a way and we certainly found a way today to get three points, but unfortunately it wasn't enough.
On whether there's 'disappointment mixed with a good deal of pride', having amassed 92 points and pushed City all the way...
Yeah, the lads have given everything, so you can't have too many issues. We've given absolutely everything all season right until the last day. In January, I think we'd have bit your hand off to take it to the last day. So, I'm very proud of the boys and what they've done this season so far, but it's not over yet. We've got another game next week. There's a bit of disappointment today. We've got to say congratulations to City, of course, but then we focus on the job next week. A huge match against a really good side and we'll have to be at our very best if we want to come away with the trophy.
