ReactionJoel Matip: We must start showing our quality
The Reds produced a fightback to lead the game late on at Anfield in the wake of Leandro Trossard's first-half double.
Roberto Firmino twice found the back of the net himself either side of the break, before Adam Webster inadvertently turned the ball into his own net to give Liverpool the advantage.
The Seagulls, though, had the last say inside the final 10 minutes as Trossard secured a hat-trick to see the spoils shared in L4.

Matip – who was speaking to Liverpoolfc.com post-match – wants Jürgen Klopp's charges to be better in their bid for victories.
Read on for a summary of the defender's reaction below...
On the back-and-forth contest...
Brighton played really good, started really well. We didn't come through and they made our life quite hard. The second half was an improvement, but our expectations are higher than this.
On what positives can be taken...
I'm not sure about this. We can be happy about the one point because Brighton really played good. But we just have to be better, start better and show our quality.
On Firmino's performance and goals...
He's brilliant, a brilliant connecting player and now he scores even more. It's brilliant to have him in our side and even in a not-good game like today he had some opportunities and used them.
On trying to gain some momentum with the upcoming games...
Of course. There are a lot of games and a lot of points to win, and we have to use the time and get back on track again.
