AcademyJames Norris nominated for PL2 Player of the Month
The Liverpool U23s left-back – who also regularly operates in midfield – has been in fine form and was one of the star performers in a stunning 7-1 defeat of Tottenham Hotspur at the Academy, scoring a fine goal with a familiar late burst into the box.
Norris, an England U19 international, was also part of the team that kept a clean sheet at Etihad Stadium against Manchester City, a game that continued an unbeaten run for the U23s which now stands at six matches.
Also nominated for the award are Alfie Devine (Tottenham), Lee Harkin and Christian Marques (Wolverhampton Wanderers), Dion Rankine (Chelsea), Tony Springett (Norwich City) and Bradley Young (Aston Villa).
