Press conference'It's very positive all the things we saw' - Klopp on Fabio Carvalho
The 19-year-old has made four competitive appearances for the Reds following his summer arrival, featuring in all three Premier League games this season alongside the FA Community Shield victory last month, all from the substitutes' bench.
Ahead of Saturday's clash with AFC Bournemouth at Anfield, Klopp was quizzed over the ongoing progress of Carvalho behind closed doors.
The boss revealed he would have no hesitation in selecting Carvalho in his starting line-up should the situation arise, given his swift integration into the team's set-up.
"Of course, it would be possible," Klopp said during the second part of Friday's pre-match press conference.
"The problem is a little bit [that] Fabio is the one player who can play in midfield and up front and how can we change? Stuff like this.
"It's really good. It's very positive all the things we saw from him, he's a great boy, [a] really top-class boy, well-educated, in the middle of the group, cheeky as well - all these kinds of things.

"In this department I would say he is well ahead of his age group. So [it's] like this in the team, it's not too complicated to get into this team. [He] has a real mate with Harvey [Elliott], obviously, knowing each other for longer and these kind of things. So, that's really nice to see.
"When he came on he had a real impact again, [he] is doing really well.
"In the [Manchester] City game when he came on, he was not [on] too long, but even there he had an immediate impact around the third goal, I think - [it's] top, really like it."
