Round-upInternationals: Szoboszlai scores quickfire brace in Hungary win
The Reds midfielder helped turn the game around shortly after the hour mark, netting a brace to overcome Slobodan Rubezic's earlier opener at Puskas Arena.
Szoboszlai first finished low into the bottom corner of the goal having beaten several defenders into the penalty area, before scoring high into the net from close range after a Martin Adam pass to complete the comeback.
Adam Nagy rounded off the scoring in added time at the end of the fixture, with Hungary sealing top spot in Group G of Euro 2024 qualifying.
Elsewhere, Mohamed Salah recorded an assist as Egypt defeated Sierra Leone 2-0 in a 2026 World Cup qualifier in Liberia.
Mahmoud Trezeguet scored twice for the Pharaohs in the Group A meeting, with Salah setting up his second on the hour, amid two red cards for Sierra Leone in the contest.
Diogo Jota, meanwhile, was an unused substitute as Group J winners Portugal secured a 2-0 victory over Iceland to complete their Euro 2024 qualifying campaign.
