Also in the Nations League, Conor Bradley featured until added time for Northern Ireland in a 2-0 win over Belarus in Belfast.
Wataru Endo played the full 90 minutes for Japan as they claimed a 4-0 success away at Indonesia in the third round of Asia’s 2026 World Cup qualifiers.
Tyler Morton was a starter for England U21s against their Spanish counterparts in La Linea.
The midfielder went on to play 78 minutes for the Young Lions, while on-loan Stefan Bajcetic was introduced at half-time by the home side as the friendly contest ended goalless.
Elsewhere for England’s youth teams, Kaide Gordon – who is spending 2024-25 with Norwich City – completed an hour of the Elite League Squad’s 4-0 win over Germany.
And Rio Ngumoha played 74 minutes of the U17s’ 1-1 draw at Belgium.
