NewsInternationals: Darwin Nunez scores hat-trick for Uruguay
By Chris Shaw
The Liverpool striker was on target after just seven minutes of the encounter, which was played in Denver, Colorado.
And, after Facundo Pellistri doubled their lead, Nunez netted twice more either side of half-time to help record an emphatic win – and take his streak for Uruguay to eight goals in his last five international appearances.
Marcelo Bielsa’s side are building up for the Copa America later this month, where they will face Panama, Bolivia and the USA during the group stage.
