KEY INFORMATION
Remembrance Day
Please note, a period of silence will be observed at Anfield ahead of kick-off to mark Remembrance Day.
Travel – Major roadworks around Anfield
Liverpool City Council's highways and improvement programme have shut Priory Road for eight months while a new drainage system, new pedestrian crossing near the crematorium, new footways and carriageway reconstructions are put in place.
The work will be carried out in four phases, which started on October 21, between the junctions of Utting Avenue and Walton Lane.
Diversions are in place while the work is ongoing that could impact your journey time to and from Anfield this Saturday. Please arrive early to avoid delays.
If you have allocated parking on Stanley Car Park or Utting Avenue, access will be available but only by the following routes:
- Stanley Car Park – access will only be available via Walton Lane, there is no access from Utting Avenue
- Utting Avenue Car Park – access will only be available from Utting Avenue, there is no access from Walton Lane
Please plan to arrive earlier than usual as delays are expected in accessing both car parks and could impact other travel routes to the stadium.
The usual matchday road closures will be put in place 90 minutes before and one hour after kick-off on Walton Breck Road.
Rail seating – the Kop and upper Anfield Road
Following an application to the Sports Ground Safety Authority (SGSA), safe standing is only permitted in areas of Anfield with rail seating.
Seats without rail seating are not licensed for safe standing. This includes the new Anfield Road upper tier. During the match, fans must remain seated other than significant moments in the match such as goal celebrations.
New Fan Zone
The brand-new Fan Zone on Anfield Road will be open from 4pm until 7.30pm, with live music, official LFC merchandise, football activities, games zone, drinks bar and an appearance from Mighty Red.
Access is only for home fans, who can enter with a valid matchday ticket.
Anfield Road Stand
Please be aware there is no lift access to reach the upper tier for supporters. Any fan with mobility issues in this part of the ground should contact the disability team prior to attending the stadium on 0151 264 2500, selecting the disability option.
Accessible access for home fans for lower Anfield Road will be the accessibility gate DA4 located between the Sir Kenny Dalglish and Anfield Road stands.
Accessible access for away fans for lower Anfield Road will be the accessibility gate DA6 located on Anfield Road, from the direction of 97 Avenue.
Tackling antisocial and criminal behaviour
LFC is supporting strong measures across football to tackle antisocial and criminal behaviours within football grounds – including entering the pitch without permission, tragedy chanting and carrying or using smoke devices or pyros.
These are illegal, dangerous and have serious consequences. They have no place in the game. Anyone involved in these activities will be banned by the club and reported to the police.
Love Football. Protect the Game.
Flag and banner policy
During previous matches, LFC stewards requested that a number of flags and banners from across the political and national spectrum be removed as they didn't meet the club's flag and banner policy, and the additional guidance from the Premier League.
These included flags containing direct calls to action, political statements, national flags and flags that could have caused disquiet, no matter how inoffensive they may seem.
It's important to follow the rules of the governing bodies of football and ensure that safety remains the number one priority for all supporters who come to Anfield.
The current LFC flag policy is here.
This season's ground regulations can be found here.
Smoking or vaping
Anfield is a no-smoking football stadium. Any person who smokes inside the stadium will be ejected. This includes electronic cigarettes and vapes.
Updated bag policy
For safety and security purposes, ONLY the following bags are permitted entry into the stadium:
- Small handheld bag that does not exceed A5 size (148.5 x 210 mm/5.8 x 8.3 inches)
- LFC superstore clear carrier bag containing superstore purchases only
Larger bags will only be permitted at the discretion of LFC if they contain medication and/or medical equipment that cannot fit inside an A5 size bag. Any supporter who needs to bring an oversized bag for medical reasons is advised to inform the club via email at least 48 hours before the game. The request should be sent to the disability team at disability@liverpoolfc.com.
All bags permitted will be subjected to a bag search on entry point.
Please report anything suspicious while in and around the ground to your nearest steward or police officer.
There will be a bag-drop facility for anything that is not permitted into the stadium, located directly opposite the Kop at Christ Church, 157 Hartnup Street, L5 1UW.
This facility will be managed by LFC Foundation and small bags up to holdall size cost £5 and suitcases or very large bags cost £10. All monies raised will be donated to LFC Foundation and, in line with Anfield, payment is card only.
The facility will open three hours before kick-off for this match and close one hour after the final whistle. LFC accepts no responsibility for loss or damage, items left at owners' risk and all bags will be subject to security search.
