TRAVEL
What's the best way to get to Deepdale?
Please plan your journey to and from the stadium in advance to avoid delays. Please use public transport where possible as there is no official parking.
By train
Preston Railway Station is located in the city centre and is situated approximately two miles away from Deepdale. There is a matchday walking route, outlined on the below map.
By taxi
Taxis are also available from outside the railway station, costing approximately £5 to Deepdale.
By bus
The closest bus station to Deepdale is Preston Bus Station, with routes 19 and 19A passing the stadium from the station. Bus routes and timetables can be found here.
Please note, there will be no shuttle bus in operation for this fixture. For disabled supporters, please speak to the LFC disability team with any parking enquiries.
SECURITY
What security measures are in place?
The safety and security of fans is paramount. Liverpool FC is working closely with Preston North End, and other partner agencies, to ensure your safety and security while attending the game with a range of measures to keep supporters safe.
These include highly trained stewards from Preston and LFC, security personnel, searches and security checks, detection dogs and extensive CCTV as well as other measures that may not be visible.
What time should I arrive at the stadium?
Supporters are encouraged to arrive early, at least 90 minutes before kick-off, to avoid traffic delays, queues and allow for security checks and search procedures.
Queues may be likely the closer to kick-off you arrive. Turnstiles for general admission will open at 5.30pm BST and hospitality will open at 5pm BST.
Can I take a bag into the stadium?
Preston North End's bag policy is bags no larger than an A4 bag are allowed into the ground.
Those bags permitted will be subjected to a bag search on entry point.
Please report anything suspicious while in and around the ground to your nearest steward or police officer.
ACCESSING AND ENTERING THE STADIUM
Please check your ticket for your access point and turnstile number.
Please be advised that the age of entry for this match is in line with Anfield's policy. Anyone under the age of 16 attending must be accompanied by an adult over the age of 18.
Please remain seated throughout the match. Deepdale is an all-seater stadium, persistent standing is not allowed. When celebrating, or engaging in key moments of the match, please act responsibly.
STADIUM FACILITIES
Deepdale is a cashless stadium – contactless and/or chip and pin payments are required in all areas.
Food and drink kiosks will be open on each concourse. There will be an in-seat service for refreshments available for disabled supporters sat at pitch level who cannot access the kiosk facilities. Catering staff will be on hand to take orders before kick-off.
Deepdale is a no smoking or vaping stadium and both are strictly prohibited.
LFC Retail will be available with a mobile pop-up store located by the south stand, which will open at 4pm BST until kick-off, and then re-open after the game for a limited time. This will also be cashless with card-only payments.
LFC matchday programmes will be available to purchase on the day.
Deepdale does offer a multi-faith prayer room for both home and away supporters on matchdays. This will open 90 minutes ahead of kick-off until full-time, allowing those who need to pray at certain times of the day to leave their seat during the game if necessary.
Please contact a nearby steward during the match and they will be able to escort supporters to the prayer room.
TACKLING ANTISOCIAL AND CRIMINAL BEHAVIOUR
LFC is supporting strong measures across football to tackle antisocial and criminal behaviours within football grounds – including entering the pitch without permission and carrying or using smoke bombs or pyros. These are illegal, dangerous and have serious consequences. They have no place in our game. Anyone involved in these activities will be banned by the club and reported to the police. Love Football. Protect the Game.
Liverpool FC would like to remind all supporters of its commitment to ensure that football remains an environment that continues to provide a welcoming environment to all people, and the club will take the strongest possible action against discriminatory behaviour.

Liverpool FC is committed to enforcing the Premier League's anti-discrimination commitment, which will see any offenders banned from all Premier League grounds for a minimum of three years.
BANNERS & FLAGS
Contact must be made with the Preston North End ground safety department in advance of the fixture if a banner or flag is being brought to Deepdale.
All banners and flags must have a fire safety certificate. Any banners and flags of discriminatory, political or commercial nature will not be permitted. Banners and flags must not cover any signage or advertising or obstruct the view of other supporters.
Deepdale will always accommodate banners and flags as best as possible and will generally be located in an unoccupied area.
LEAVING DEEPDALE
Fans are reminded when leaving the ground to please respect the neighbours by leaving quietly and taking your litter home.
