Due to the adverse weather conditions across the country, there will be a number of operational changes in place for Saturday's game at Anfield.

We are advising all fans attending the match to please note the following important information.

Arrive in plenty of time – kick-off is scheduled as planned for 3pm GMT but we ask fans to get to the ground early due to potential disruption with travel and routes around the stadium. Turnstiles will open at 1pm.

Check your travel plan to and from the stadium as this may also be disrupted – please plan your journey in advance and take care on your route to the stadium. Anyone travelling to the stadium by bike must drop off their bike at the Cycle Hub, which is free to use and situated in Stanley car park. Please do not leave anywhere else around the stadium.

Head to https://www.liverpoolfc.com/matchday/getting-to-anfield for local travel links.

No external toilets will be open – due to the adverse weather, all external toilets around the ground will be closed. Toilets will be open inside the stadium.

Anfield’s flags will not be flown around the stadium ahead of kick-off.

Stadium routes may have to be changed to move safely around the ground. Please listen and follow guidance from our stewards and fan support staff on access points.

Retail pods and matchday programme kiosks may be closed around the ground, but the LFC retail store will be open as usual and programmes available inside the stadium.

Liverpool City Council’s COVID-19 testing site has been relocated to the Kop Bar. It is open from 11am until kick-off.

As COVID-19 restrictions ease, it is vital supporters continue to do all they can to minimise the risk of passing on COVID-19. There are some simple ways that you can help keep each other safe on a matchday:

  • Be responsible and do not travel if you have COVID-19 symptoms
  • Wear face coverings in indoor and crowded areas, including concourses
  • Continue to regularly wash your hands
  • If possible, take a COVID-19 test on a matchday to check there is no risk of passing on the virus
  • The best way to protect yourself and others from COVID-19 is to get vaccinated

Thank you for all your support in following these measures and helping keep your fellow fans safe.
